The P38(s) is available from the tax office or you can ask your employer for it. If you fill out this form, before you start a summer job, you may receive all your pay without any tax being taken off. You have to confirm that you will earn less than the personal allowance for that year (currently £5035) and that you will not work again once you stop your summer job.
